Small tips

Budget closer to reality, and avoid running short later

  1. Enter numbers from signed quotes

Every time you get a quote, put the figure on the right line straight away. Ask whether it includes tax, service charge and drinks, so nothing “extra” turns up at the end of the reception.

  2. Keep a contingency

The “Contingency” line keeps you calm when extra guests appear, the cars change time or you need more invitations printed. How much is enough is up to your family.

  3. Settle the tables after the RSVPs

The number of tables is the line most likely to drift. Count the guests who replied in the guest book, then update the tables before confirming with the venue.

Questions

Common questions

Can’t find what you need? Message us; a real person reads and replies.

Why doesn’t the tool fill in prices?

Wedding prices vary by city, season, venue and each family’s taste. One general figure easily misleads, so the tool stays empty for you to enter real quotes. The “Fill in example figures” button is only there to show how it works.

Where are my numbers stored?

Only in the browser of the device you are using (local storage). We never receive any figure. Clearing your browser data or using private mode loses them, so export a CSV to keep a copy.

What opens the CSV file?

Excel, Google Sheets or Numbers. The file is UTF-8, so Vietnamese shows correctly; if an old Excel garbles the text, use Data › From Text and choose UTF-8.

How is the banquet line worked out?

Banquet = number of tables × price per table. Under the fields, the tool also shows the seats = tables × guests per table, so you can check it against your guest list.

Can I add my own lines?

Yes. Press “Add a line” in the right group, name it and enter the amount. Lines you add have their own delete button; built-in lines left empty are not counted.

Does it count wedding gift money?

The tool only budgets spending. You can record gift money in the gift column of the guest book.
